ServiceDesk Multiple Email Box Monitor - Version 8.1

In continuing to provide support for the latest versions of products, the newly revised packages for SD.EmailMonitorMulti - for Servicedesk version 8.1 are attached here.  They contain the new user interface theme (look and feel), and some additional small defect fixes that have been discovered in 8.x Email Monitor.  This version will also take an existing monitored account and add it, but you must re-enter the password for the account in the Email Account Admin Tool.

To implement this:

1. If you are using Email Monitor currently, please take note of the account information, and password, prior to beginning.

2. Inform users that Email submissions  will be slightly delayed.

3. Open IIS, and find the SD.Email Monitor.  Delete it from IIS.

4. Open the SD.EmailServerAccountAdmin8.1 package on your Servicedesk server.  Publish this package.  (As a side note, you should capture the URL at the end of publishing, and create a Service Catalog entry for this, for future use).

5. Browse to the URL on the last publishing page

6. If you have an existing monitor account, enter the password for that account as it shows up.  Save that account info

7. Add any additional accounts you would like to have monitored for automated incident creation in Servicedesk.

8. Now, open and publish SD.Email.Monitor.Multi8.1

9. You should be all set.
